Internship: Athletic Trainer
The SNH Beavers are currently accepting applications for its Athletic Trainer internship. Interns will acquire practical
knowledge through hands-on experience and gain the necessary skills to compete for jobs in the sports industry at the completion
of the program. They will work within the organization on a variety of projects, which will allow the interns to showcase
their individual skills. The internship is a volunteer program, as interns are not compensated.
Responsibilities:
Arrive to home and away games with team supplied medical bag.
Conduct inventory of medical supplies on a weekly basis.
Evaluate and assist football players as needed during practices and games.
Apply first aid, pre-wrap, and tape to football players as needed.
Assist Emergency Medical Technician during games.
Inform coaching staff on the status of injured players.
Work in conjunction with another Athletic Trainer.
Internship: Equipment Manager
The SNH Beavers are currently accepting applications for its equipment manager internship. Interns will acquire practical
knowledge through hands-on experience and gain the necessary skills to compete for jobs in the sports industry at the completion
of the program. They will work within the organization on a variety of projects, which will allow the interns to showcase
their individual skills. The internship is a volunteer program, as interns are not compensated.
Responsibilities:
Distribution of all laundered game jerseys on game day.
Set-up and breakdown of all football and sideline equipment.
Before home games, assist with field operations pertaining to equipment.
Assist coaching staff during pregame warm ups.
Collection of all game jerseys after game.
Transport collected jerseys to team dry cleaner located in Milford NH.
Assist coached during select practices or scrimmage games.
Internship: Community Relations
The SNH Beavers are currently accepting applications for its Community Relations internship. Interns will acquire practical
knowledge through hands-on experience and gain the necessary skills to compete for jobs in the sports industry at the completion
of the program. They will work within the organization on a variety of projects, which will allow the interns to showcase
their individual skills. The internship is a volunteer program, as interns are not compensated.
Responsibilities:
Develop relationships with local organizations committed to Community Service
Create and schedule various community service events for the Beavers organization to participate in.
Attend community service events and keep track of community service hours for players and cheerleaders.
Receive requests for community service and submit to board of directors for approval.
Work with other committee members and volunteers on ways to promote the Beavers organization while fulfilling community
service hours.
Internship: Media Relations
The SNH Beavers are currently accepting applications for its Media Relations internship. Interns will acquire practical
knowledge through hands-on experience and gain the necessary skills to compete for jobs in the sports industry at the completion
of the program. They will work within the organization on a variety of projects, which will allow the interns to showcase
their individual skills. The internship is a volunteer program, as interns are not compensated.
Responsibilities:
Develop relationship with local sports reporters.
Create and distribute Beavers press releases pertaining to sign up dates.
Create publications for the Beavers website.
Write a recap of each Beavers game and submit to the league’s online recap show “The Blitz”.
Assist board of directors and committee members on various press releases related to marketing, fundraising, and cheerleading.
Internship: Team Administrator
The SNH Beavers are currently accepting applications for its Team Administrator internship. Interns will acquire practical
knowledge through hands-on experience and gain the necessary skills to compete for jobs in the sports industry at the completion
of the program. They will work within the organization on a variety of projects, which will allow the interns to showcase
their individual skills. The internship is a volunteer program, as interns are not compensated.
Responsibilities:
Assist coaching staff at all games in keeping players and sideline personal from crowding the sideline.
Assist players with equipment issues.
Monitor sidelines to ensure fans stand clear of bench area.
Insure that the water boy is filling water bottles and attending huddles during timeouts.
Assist Emergency Medical Technician and trainers during games as needed.
Assist coaching staff as needed.
Insure that the equipment manager is collecting jersey’s after games.
